For band there are many different kind of intruments like wind, brass, string, percussion, electronics, and keyboarding. You can be in band at any age but starting at 4th or 5th grade. In middle school you just do concerts and musicals. Some of the original instruments are the trumpet, clarinet, saxiphone, alto sax, barisax, flute, french horn, bells, xylophone, bass drum,symbols and more.
For choir there are different sections were you might be placed. Sopranos are girls that can sing high and low at anytime. Altos are girls who can't sing way high-just in the middle-and for guys who sing higher than most.Tenors are for guys who can sing low and high at differnet times, and basses are for guys who can sing very low. In choir you can be in concerts and musicals also.
